From moving to the US at a very young age, to dropping out of college to start a rock band, this week’s guest has had quite the journey to being the expert digital transformation and website storyteller he is today. He has driven significant digital brand experience initiatives with companies such as Google, Cisco, Intel, and Citrix just to name a few. Steve Ohanians is this week’s guest on “The Jake Dunlap Show.”

With just a few hundred bucks in his dad’s pockets, Steve and his family moved to the U.S from Iran in 1986. His father, who was Steve’s hero, was a SVP of an Oil Refinery plant, but studied to become a licensed plumber/contractor upon their arrival to the U.S.

While in college, Steve initially decided on studying Aerospace Engineering, but dropped out to start an LA Rock Band called Substance. Over time, he started seeing how many creative opportunities there were on the internet, and slowly started moving into that space.

Fast forward, Steve Co-Founded WebEnertia, where it is their mission to Empower B2B Brands by creating impactful and data-driven digital brand and web experiences. Steve often talks about the importance of evaluating marketing technology investments to ensure they are delivering on their KPIs, and also stresses the importance of doubling down on your current clients, as they can provide a massive lifeline during market shifts.
