STOP designing onboarding screens!

What are onboarding screens and why are they obsolete in interface design?
OF COURSE there are exceptions (but quite rare) and the video that I mentioned is in our case always included in the app bundle so no need to download it on a wireless connection - it's built in. There are also cases of feature specific onboarding that's not the main one in the app - in that case it all depends on the research we have whether it's necessary to introduce something that way or not - but in ALL CASES you need to design your product in a way that it needs minimal explaining to do - that's good design :)
