Hey, guys…
I have been developing websites full-time since 2015.
A couple years ago, I developed a simple HTML theme, for use in really simple business websites.

Here’s an example of a client site I have done with this method:
https://www.fmcdrywall.com/

Here’s a template site I made, and if you check the drop-down menus, you can see a lot of simple niche-based themes:

There are many website styles and frameworks.
I spent a few years designing sites in Wordpress, and have tried a number of methods, as well.

In my experience, most of what is out-there can be pretty expensive, and extremely time consuming to develop and maintain.
These days, I keep things as simple as possible, and my priority is performance.
The method I’m getting ready to offer clients is focused on Static HTML.
The design is the same, in terms of menus and general layout, but the colors are very flexible, and obviously the copy can be changed.

The benefits are as follows:

It’s very cheap for both parties, because the infrastructure is lightweight.
The sites also load as fast as is pretty-much possible.
There’s no database, so there is far less risk of content being hacked.
No maintenance is required, either, because there’s no database to maintain.
There’s no server, so there is no risk of viruses or malware.
No updates are ever required, because there’s no server that needs updates.
There are also no integrated plugins, so there is no risk of integration conflicts.
The designs are super clean and simple.
Pages are served cached using Cloudflare CDN, so downtime is extremely unlikely.
Pages are also proxied through Cloudflare, so speed and security are further increased.
As a sidenote, Cloudflare’s infrastructure is 15x larger than the most powerful DDoS attack ever recorded, last I checked, so the security is about as good as it gets.
I offer a site embed, which allows you to make revision requests straight from the website.
I offer a white-labeled analytics dashboard, so you can monitor your traffic.
Summary: cheap, fast, secure, stable, simple and clean, etc.

If there are any downsides, the main thing is that because there is no database, there is no login where you can add posts, yourself.
So, any pages you want to add, I have to design them in HTML.

That’s also a bit of an upside, though, as well, because it means that I have to offer a fully-managed service, which means that you can always delegate website tasks to me.
The general theme layout is not subject to change, and that’s so that things stay clean and simple, and the workload is predictable.

As a result, I’m working on a new billing structure, which is designed to have cheaper recurring fees, but with more one-off billings for extra page requests or edits that you might need, from time-to-time.
Once you get things where you like them, though, the recurring costs are low, and your site can basically sit there for a hundred years, and probably never have any problems.

Right now, this is how I’m pricing things:
$125/yr for Hosting and CDN.
$125 per page added to the site.
(content may be included, depending on the request)
I will also be charging for edit requests, in the future, but I need to give this some more thought.
As far as any extra features, or special requests, additional charges may apply, it’s just going to be a case-by-case basis, depending on what you need.
So, your cheapest route is $250, today, for a one-page website, and each year you will be billed $125 for the recurring hosting and CDN costs. (about $10/mo)

For a fully-managed solution, this is an extremely cost-effective package structure.
With FMC Drywall, you will notice that even though I’ve included the menu at the top, it actually scrolls to places right there on the homepage.

It’s a one-page website.
So, that’s a neat trick for adding navigation, but keeping things really simple and cheap.

I can also help with other facets of your digital infrastructure, and your marketing.
Just let me know where you need help, and what you would like to do.

If you would like to proceed, let me know what all you are wanting to do, so that we can count the cost, and get things going.
