How to Make Soft UI in Illustrator (Neumorphism) | Tutorial for Beginners

Published
In this Adobe Illustrator tutorial, I'll show you how to create Soft UI elements, also known as Neumorphism. I'll guide you on how to make Neumorphism in a single object in Illustrator, as well as show you some tips and tricks that are key to this effect! This is a tutorial for beginners and advanced users alike.

Neumorphism, also known as Soft UI, is a design trend that became very popular in 2020, but people overused it so much that it died just as quickly. The name Neumorphism was created by combining the words "Skeumorphism", a design style which tries to mimic real life objects, and "new", for it was sort of an attempt to shine a new light on this style that is becoming less and less used.
