From graduate school to Product Design Lead | Start your design career by designing for startups

After growing up in Texas, Vanessa moved to NYC where she studied digital Product Design through NYU's Interactive Telecommunications graduate program. She's now the Lead Product Designer for Humanly, a startup with a mission to empower hiring teams to overcome their unconscious bias.

In this video interview, Vanessa and I talk about how she switched into a career in Product Design through one of NYU's graduate programs and landed a lead position at a startup that she loves. There's lots to learn from Vanessa's story and I hope you enjoy!
