Known as the "Father of the Internet in Japan," Jun Murai is a professor of computer science.
Professor Murai received his doctorate from Keio University in 1987. During his research, he developed Japan's first-ever inter-university network.
For Professor Murai’s many contributions to the Internet Protocol, he was inducted into the 2013 Internet Hall of Fame.
