CSS Video Borders
Am wondering if anyone knows how to add a border around just the thumbs and posters on the home page, with a possible alternative to add them everywhere, like actors, more like this etc. I quite like this for now.
Till I feel like a change anyway. Not a exactly a disaster, just seems bit weird that the border instructions are the same for the white permanent border as for the hover blue border, but they're in slightly different positions. My first play with CSS and tbh I like a single pixel border on all the screens. I think it looks much more polished than having no border - but each to their own I guess.
Looks like its time for you to go wild. Change the green? Make those Media Info boxes transparent, etc, etc. The world is your oyster Have you tried loading in Chrome and looking at the Code you get back there.. I thought about that though because they brought up user-agent specific stylesheets..
So it may not be the specific indications you are using not applying but your trying to apply them to something different for that user-agent. I just look at that inspect code thing and don't know which to pick or which to expand with those arrows and can't spot anything to do with buttons. I know you'll probably have to have an extension with that I miss those days sometimes with Firefox..
Chrome just never really cut-it for me.. Maybe I skinned it once but extensibility was an issue beyond basic browsing back then.. I used an off-shoot of it called SRWare Iron Like I say it seems to work in Firefox, but not Chrome or Edge. I generally only use Firefox but working in all of them would be good. Don't know anything bout these extensions but hopefully its just a matter of finding the right line of css.
I can't code anything - its generally a matter of asking here or trying to spot something in the googleverse. Neither can I, learning from here and google also. But the way the image is layered in button on cardscaleable is the issue. But each browser seem to handle it differently. That fixes it. I tried replacing div with button or had div. Will do some testing shortly.
I couldn't decide if it was because of the progress bar, as you can see the white border gets covered up before it gets to the progress bar, but it doesn't take much to confuse me Only issue maybe the beginning and the end of the progress bar being covered by your border. How to remove borders from images taken from document (like MNIST handwritten chars)?
CSS is designed to enable the separation of presentation and content, including layout , colors , and fonts. Separation of formatting and content also makes it feasible to present the same markup page in different styles for different rendering methods, such as on-screen, in print, by voice via speech-based browser or screen reader , and on Braille-based tactile devices. CSS also has rules for alternate formatting if the content is accessed on a mobile device. The name cascading comes from the specified priority scheme to determine which style rule applies if more than one rule matches a particular element. This cascading priority scheme is predictable. CSS has a simple syntax and uses a number of English keywords to specify the names of various style properties. A style sheet consists of a list of rules.

The 3 CSS Methods for Adding Element Borders
With the CSS border-image property, you can set an image to be used as the border around an element. The CSS border-image property allows you to specify an image to be used instead of the normal border around an element. The border-image property takes the image and slices it into nine sections, like a tic-tac-toe board. It then places the corners at the corners, and the middle sections are repeated or stretched as you specify. Note: For border-image to work, the element also needs the border property set! Tip: The border-image property is actually a shorthand property for the border-image-source , border-image-slice , border-image-width , border-image-outset and border-image-repeat properties. Give the div element an image border. Use the short hand property to define the details of the image border.
